The PepsiCo brand Gatorade has launched a patch that analyses the sweat produced by athletes. This serves to let users know how and when to best rehydrate after working out. The “Gx Sweat Patch” is applied to the inner arm before a workout and funnels the fluid through a color-changing channel on the patch. The patch is then scanned using the accompanying app. It shows users how best to replenish after exerting themselves. This will avoid cramp and ensure a faster regeneration. What’s more, users can create profiles based on their sports.
