TURNING WASTE INTO 3D-PRINTED FURNITURE

The start-up Model No. Furniture creates tailor-made 3D-printed furniture items using an upcycling process involving sustainably sourced agricultural waste. The process uses different types of waste, such as maize husks and sugar cane, which are turned into biopolymers and plant resins, and then 3D-printed into various items of furniture like tables.

A digital showroom enables customers also to individually adapt the shape, size and color of their items, and also have them made on demand.
